ROMEO AND JULIET, 1968
Speaking for myself — although I think Leonard would say the same thing about himself and Romeo — I had no problem understanding what Juliet was going through. Love: mad, crazy, wholehearted love. Confusing. Overwhelming. Selfish. Dumb. It all came naturally to me. Juliet was born in the heart of a wide-eyed, innocent sixteen-year-old girl, and when I watch the film or think back on it, I remember what that girl was like and what she was feeling. And I can’t help but cry just a little. - Olivia Hussey
